Middleweight Front End Designer / Developer
Languages
- An ability to code xHTML & CSS to W3C Compliance
- A knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3 capabilities would be beneficial
- A knowledge of Javascript and / or jQuery
- Experience with PHP & MySQL
CMS
- A working knowledge of CMS platforms such as WordPress and Magento.
- Must be comfortably able to create Web Standards Compliant themes for WordPress and Magento.
Software
- Good knowledge of graphical software packages e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator
Other
- A keen eye, attention to detail and efficient working practices
- An understanding of browsers and rendering issues / bugs with the standard browsers
- An understanding of SEO techniques within the website build
The candidate will be required to:
- Communicate with clients in a friendly manner, building up a rapport
- Manage their own client database.
- Communicate ideas, and contribute to discussions within the creative team.
- Work efficiently to hit deadlines and keep on schedule with the flow of work
- Join in with the brew rounds, and deliver a cup of tea that lives up to the high standard currently set by Dom
