Web Developer

Fab Spider are looking to add another monkey to the troop, this time we require one who knows how to use crayons.

We require another Web Developer to join our creative team.

This role will see you work as part of our creative team, designing and developing compliant websites to a brief obtained during your discussions with the client.

The candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• An ability to code xHTML & CSS to W3C Compliance
• Knowledge of Javascript and / or jQuery beneficial, but not essential
• A working knowledge of CMS platforms such as Wordpress and Magento, and must be comfortably able to create Web Standards Compliant themes.
• Experience with PHP & MySQL.
• Good knowledge of graphical software packages e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator
• A keen eye, attention to detail and efficient working practices
• An understanding of browsers and rendering issues / bugs with the standard browsers
• An understanding of SEO techniques within the website build

The candidate will be required to:

• Communicate with clients in a friendly manner, building up a rapport
• Manage their own client database.
• Communicate ideas, and contribute to discussions within the creative team.
• Work efficiently to hit deadlines and keep on schedule with the flow of work
• Join in with the brew rounds, and deliver a cup of tea that lives up to the high standard currently set by Dom
